Nipomo veterinary services – delivered with courtesy and respect – COVID style!

As a new client of Nipomo Dog & Cat Hospital in Nipomo, CA, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.

1

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly over the phone, and checked in quickly while you wait in your car with your pet. If you are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you wear face covering.
2

In most cases, one of our veterinary assistants will then meet you and escort you to our lobby or one of our rooms if you are scheduled for a doctor’s appointment.
3

Once you get in the room, the assistant will obtain information regarding your pet’s medical history, current condition, and the reason for visit. One of our veterinarians will examine your pet, discuss their evaluation, and any recommended treatments or diagnostics, if needed. Once the tests have been run, which can usually be done in the practice, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted.
4

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.
5

Our veterinary assistants will conclude your appointment by filling any prescriptions, if needed, and confirming any follow up recommended by the doctor. We will then take payment at the front desk and any paperwork and medications.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to extremely high demand for appointments, any appointments not cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice will be subject to a Missed Appointment Fee equal to our full exam price.

We are excited to meet you and your human and animal family members!
